Giving Thanks

In the midst of a year that has been full of challenges, we think it’s more important than ever to give thanks.

We are continually thankful for the opportunity to do this ministry.  We are thankful for the students under our care and the ways in which they reflect God’s light and love on a daily basis.  We are thankful for the ways in which the circumstances of the past year have given us more opportunities to connect with and minister to their families.

We are thankful for the volunteers who give of their time and energy to show up in the lives of students.

We are thankful for our many church partners who collaborate with us in dynamic and powerful ways.

We are thankful for the many individuals, families, and businesses who support us financially and prayerfully.

We are thankful for the eight young men and women serving as interns this year and the ways in which they are growing as servant leaders.

Finally, we are thankful for the presence of God through Jesus Christ, which continues to guide us through turbulent times. During times of heartache this past year, Jesus has comforted us. During times of despair, Jesus has filled us with hope. During times of confusion, Jesus has brought us clarity. As we face the uncertainty of tomorrow, we trust that Jesus will continue to provide in ways that surpass our imaginations.
