We have concluded the 2020/2021 school year with the greatest attitude and outlook on the future of City Life. We were creative beyond what I could imagine. We were optimistic and met in different places around Bellevue. We overcame every hurdle and trusted that God would show up for us all time and time again. We made new friends and served our community in different ways.

This year is bittersweet for me as it is the first year that I have graduating seniors. I love them deeply and have seen them develop and sharpen new skills. They both served as student leaders and I cannot tell you what a joy it was to see them in their element. I have grown personally thanks to their encouragement and creativity.

I am excited to continue to see who they will become as they carry on into adulthood. I have reminded them that God's plans are always so much greater than what one can imagine. I know the future is uncertain and can be overwhelmingly scary when immigration status and financial stability face you with negativity, but I am believing with and for them that the Lord will pave a way for them to accomplish what their hearts desire.

Help me in celebrating them by emailing me and giving them a word of encouragement and hope!

Summer is also finally here! The days are always warmer and the sun is always saying hello bright and early. This summer will feel and look different for me, as I welcome a baby girl and will be on maternity leave for the next 3 months. While I am overjoyed of experiencing this season of my life alongside my lovely family, I also find myself feeling a little sad that I will not be making memories with amazing students this summer. I am however, grateful for the support of my colleagues, community members and student leaders during my time away.

  • Pray with me for Angeles as she will be confidently leading this summer with the support of Vaughan who has served as an intern in Everett.
  •  Pray with me for all students to experience a wonderful summer with family and City Life.
  • Pray with me and for me as I embark this new season of my life as a mother.
