Yaritsa’s Prayer Update - February 2020

February has been very good to us. A group of our Monroe students are progressing in their snowboarding knowledge and having fun bonding with the students from Everett City Life. Each Wednesday, we have been traveling up to Stevens Pass with the CHILL Foundation, a program sponsored Burton Snowboards. It has been exciting to see each student stay determined to reach their goals!

We also just returned from Winter Camp which was an amazing adventure and experience! We watched our students grow closer to God and allow themselves to be vulnerable in order to heal with forgiveness. Students shared their stories as well as enjoyed the snow and intimacy of the trip. A huge thank you to everyone who made it possible for our students to go on this trip!

  • Pray that our students who attended Winter Camp would be able to reflect on their trip experiences and be encouraged by the lessons we learned.
  • Pray for peace and healing for our community over the scare and anxiousness of this new virus. That our families would stay healthy and our programs would not be affected.

We have an event coming up called Be the Story on April 26th from 7-8:30 PM. If you’d like to learn more about what God is doing in all our sites or support YFC, we’d love to have you join us for this fun evening! For more details, click here!
