It was the most wonderful time of the year for City Life! God silenced all the anxiety and uncertainty and replaced it with unity, hope, peace, and joy.

A quick recap of our month:

  • We had a jolly Christmas party. Our favorite part was seeing Warren show up wearing half of a Santa Clause suit!
  • We visited The Lights of Christmas. Our favorite moment was walking in silence and reflecting on how God shines his light upon our lives even through the difficult moments.
  • We visited the Evergreen Lights. Our favorite part was eating some yummy cookies and drinking hot chocolate while listening to the Charlie Brown Story of Christmas.
  • We visited the Clam Lights. Our favorite moment was realizing that as individuals we bring light to others through the way that we show up for each other.
  • We went on a Mission trip to Othello, WA. We met lovely indigenous families from Mexico. Our students came home feeling a lot more grateful for all the resources in Bellevue that support their families.
  • We served at Lake Sammamish Foursquare church for their Christmas service. We love that Lake Samm is home to our students.

Rony has been an outstanding student leader at City Life. He is creative, witty, thoughtful and inclusive of others. On Christmas Eve, Rony dressed up as Santa Clause and visited every students home with cookies and milk. We loved being able to bring the light of Jesus Christ to our neighbors in Bellevue.

  • Pray that our team feels motivated and encouraged to continue organizing Jesus-centered events.
  • Pray for us as we start fundraising for Winter Camp in February.
  • Pray for our student leaders: Angeles, Nancy and Rony. Pray that they may take deeper root in Jesus.

  • We are in need of meal/snack teams for every last Tuesday of every month.
  • We are in need of volunteers. If you or someone you may know would be interested, we would love to connect with you. Fill out our online volunteer application!
